The Polish business daily Money.pl published the 2008 H&H Webranking result today. It is the second consecutive year the H&H Webranking survey highlights Polish best practice standard and transparency in online communication. Bre Bank takes top position in Poland with a score of 53.25 (out of 100). Second place goes to the former winner, Poland’s leading telecom company TP Group (TPSA) (51.25) and KGHM Polska Miedz (45.5) rounding up the top three best performers.
”Bre Bank wins because they manage to produce a corporate website that is comparable with the overall European standards. They have links to highly valued information, uses a friendly navigation, and offers several contact information and a uppdated website calendar.”
Poland vs Europe
The average score for Polish companies is 39,35, which is higher than Greece 38.25, Czech Republic 37.88 and Hungary 37.88. The result is still significantly lower than the European average of 50.31 points (total European average of 700 corporate websites).
Polish companies in general are lacking information in almost all of the sections in the H&H Webranking survey, if you compare to other countries included. CSR and employer branding are areas where polish companies really need to work harder (more information about employer branding below).
